Cunningham, who won last year at Drake Relays in 16:05.36, elevated to No. 8 all-time among NCAA Division 2 outdoor performers at 15:45.91, with Smith ascending to No. 4 in NCAA Division 3 history at 16:05.43. Chinese professional athlete XiuZhen Ma won in 15:43.92 and Kathryn Munks of Hanson-Brooks Original Distance Project took third in 16:02.90.
