Fiona Smith 13th Place Women's 10,000m Section 1 - Stanford Invitational 2024

Fiona Smith, a senior at College of St. Benedict in Minnesota, finished 13th in the top section of the women's 10,000 meters in a lifetime-best 32:57.28 at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Smith became the second female athlete in NCAA Division 3 history to eclipse the 33-minute barrier, joining former Loras College standout Kassie Parker, who ran 32:36.22 last year at Stanford.
